Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. System Guardrails

Users are strictly prohibited from mass-scraping, bulk-harvesting, or systematically dumping the graydr metadata index with the intent to replicate or compete with the platform. All API access is subject to per-key rate limits and request caps defined by your subscription tier.

Any attempt to circumvent these limits, including but not limited to key sharing, automated rotation of credentials, or distributed crawling via multiple IP addresses, constitutes a material breach of this agreement.

2. Abuse Terms

Any attempt to flood, attack, reverse-engineer, or otherwise compromise the graydr API infrastructure, authentication layer, or underlying database will result in immediate automated cancellation of the offending account without notice or refund.

We reserve the right to monitor API traffic patterns for abuse indicators. Accounts flagged for suspicious activity will be suspended pending manual review.

3. Liability Shield

graydr provides analytical enrichment and structured metadata derived from public FOS decisions. Our outputs do not constitute formal legal advice, regulatory guidance, or a definitive interpretation of FCA rules. Subscribers should independently verify all data against the original FOS publications before making business decisions.

All data is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of graydr, its affiliates, and suppliers arising from or related to these terms or the use of the service is strictly capped at the total amount paid by the subscriber during the 30-day period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
